Based on the Check processing times page on IRCC website, there was an increase by almost 150k applications in month of March.
it says:
submitted in feb 2026 - 148,100 ahead of you
submitted in mar 2026 - 292,400 ahead of you

how is this possible

The tool is not accurate . When I applied it said 13 months processing time when in fact most people in 2026 are getting their citizenship within 6 to 8 months . So personally I would not trust it . Their tool also says that they are currently sending AORs for March 19th when in fact they are well beyond that and cleared almost all April’s AORs.
