hi! I submitted my OCI application in person at BLS Toronto on June 6. BLS tracker shows “processing at consulate,” but the oci portal still shows “under-process” with no acknowledgement yet.
From what I’ve seen on this forum, most people get the acknowledgement within a few days.
Is anyone else experiencing a similar delay?

Purolator was worst in delivering the package on time. Should have been delivered yesterday on June 16 but just left a pick up note. And then, this morning tracking showed out for delivery. Asked Purolator to hold it at nearest pickup point. Just picked up the parcel. Finally, got the OCI now.

So, I submitted my son's (4 year old) OCI update application (passport update) in the OCI portal and immediately got a message saying the application can't be processed as it's been over 3 months since the passport has been issued and that it will now be a paid service at BLS. However, the passport was issued on March 17th and today is June 15th (so 2 more days to go).
Why did it consider as over 3 months?
Even if we have to pay, does anyone here know how to proceed now? Can we make the payment online and submit it? We called BLS and they are not familiar with how to proceed now.

Please, we travel in 2 weeks - if someone has been in a similar situation, please let me know.

Hi, did you make any progress on your child's OCI passport update application over 3 months? I see there's a checklist on CGI Toronto and BLS website, it says submit at BLS with acknowledgement email, a form and copy of new passport. Did you go to BLS? If so, please update with your experience as I need to do the same.

Submitted OCI Card application in person at BLS Toronto today with Premium Lounge. Took 3 hrs. total from start to finish, your appointment window time doesn't really matter. If using premium , would recommend keeping a fully filled OCI application form in Draft without submitting, they did find 2 "mistakes" in my form and said my photo wasn't right so would've probably had to get premium lounge regardless today.
