I understand what you’re saying, but I actually have a very less complex case — one dependent, single, no additional children or family, and I haven’t lived in or visited any other countries. Nothing complicated at all. Yet I still haven’t received any updates. And when I called last week, the agent confirmed that my security hasn’t even started yet, which makes the delay even more confusing, but you all make me have hope that soon my file will get an updateBut it's true they move faster with less complex file, like one spouse, children with one partner.
If have you many children, not with same partner, needs more documents, form to fill, permission of the other parent. That things make longer your processing time, back and forth, asking for documents, waiting for your reply, then you waiting for their reply.
Security run fast when they decide to do it. One,two weeks.
