Should I apply for Citizenship, PP expiring in 5 months

Hi there, please advise, My Physical presence is like 3y 2m but my passport is expiring in five months, May I apply for Citizenship and mean while submit passport for renewal OR should I renew passport first and then apply for Citizenship, will highly appreciate your insights and experiences. thank you

Really doesn't matter either way. Personally I'd prioritze getting the citizenship app in. But up to you.

Read what you wrote again : "passports you held during the eligibility period" doesn't not mean "passport currently valid". It just means "any passport that was valid at any point in the past 5 years". IRCC doesn't care if your passport is expired before you apply, and doesn't care either if it expires while the application is being processed.
