Hello everyone,

I am in process of obtaining job offer from one of the top engineering firm of Alberta under NOC 21310. I want to know if I can get a PR under Accelerated Tech Pathway. If so what would I need from the employer and from myself? I don't know about this program so please share how this works.

Thanks in anticipation!

Read the instructions on the Alberta site. Tell employer to read through guidelines and requirements too. Their NAICS must be listed. Think only about 600 are allocated this year with thousands in the pool.

NAICS is listed, its a multinational corporation.

Pool? weren't there no draws for Accelerated Tech Pathway? as far as I remember, sending job offer to alberta will get a response from them even in within a couple of days; has that changed?

Alberta is very competitive. You submit and pay for EOI. Your EOI score, NOC and CRS score have to be selected. For example, Alberta has a quota of about 6300 with over 40k in the pool. The last tech draw (don't tell you NOC selected) you will need the minimum score, and they decide what NOCs they will pick. Not sure what you mean about being invited in days. Assume you have a work permit to start working there immediately because you may never be invited.

What is your EOI score?
