Application Submitted - what next?

Hi everyone,

I got an invitation in Feb 2026. I submitted my EE/CEC application on 19 March 2026. Since then there has been no notification of any kind. Where should I track my application? Is it the same place where I submitted the application (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/account.html) or should I track it elsewhere? Where will they let me know if they need anything more from me? And where can I track the timeline?

Once you receive AOR you should be able to start tracking your application.

I got AOR automatically after submitting the application on the same day. But it does not have any tracking information. How do I find the tracking information in that document?

Tracking only becomes available once you have received the BIL and medical has been validated.

You’ll get a message in your IRCC GCKEY when those things have been done. Usually a day after that is when you can create your profile to use the tracker.

Just for your info it’s taking about two months from AOR to BIL/Medical, so given your dates I’d imagine something will happen for you in the next week or so.
