PR Application Submitted - What next?

Hi everyone,

I got an invitation in Feb 2026. I submitted my application on 19 March 2026. Since then there has been no notification of any kind. Where should I track my application? Is it the same place where I submitted the application (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/account.html) or should I track it elsewhere? Where will they let me know if they need anything more from me? And where can I track the timeline?

You need AOR to track your application. Nothing you can do but wait.

You should get an email at some point.

Once IRCC opens up the application you submitted and goes through it to check for completeness, they'll send you an email which is your AOR (Acknowledgement of Receipt). This should contain your official application #.

Only after that can you look up your status on the tracker & next steps etc.

I got AOR automatically after submitting the application on the same day. But it does not have any tracking information. How do I find the tracking information in that document?
