October 2025 - Citizenship Applications

Some applicants who applied in October are still waiting for their oath to be scheduled (it hasn’t started yet). I believe two of them had their LPP completed in February, and at least one in March. My oath was scheduled for June 15 just a week ago.
I also checked threads from people who applied in September and August, and a few are still waiting for their LPP or oath. I’ve noticed that people from large cities like Toronto and Vancouver usually go through the process faster, while it often takes much longer for those in smaller towns.
Do not hesitate to check the Fb group "Canadian Citizenship Test, Status, Citizenship, Application".

Virtual Ceremony was today at 9 AM PDT, Vancouver Services, 111 participants.
Ceremony was relatively short, we were done by 10:15 AM. When put in breakout rooms for ID verification and cutting up the PR cards, we were asked about travel plans and we said we have a flight on Sat May 9 (in 11 days). The IRCC coordinator told us that we need a passport (which we knew) and that he would make a note in the system to work on our certificate fast so we could get one.
We emailed the oath forms immediately after the ceremony ended, and I was able to download the citizenship certificates for both of us at 11:30 PDT. Overall, pretty fast!
Below are my thoughts on becoming Canadians, I hope everyone here gets there very soon! Cheers!
Never quite understood nationalism. Borders are lines invented on a map, and the place where we are born is an absolute matter of chance. Deep down, we all want to be a part of something bigger, and I think we seek that in a nation, although it is often misused to make another separation between "us" and "them". Migration is deeply human, as much as some want to convince us otherwise.
Yet, there is a pride, an identity, when we say we are from a country. We have always been and always will be Chileans, but not because Chile is "better" (although it is the best country of Chile), but because it is part of us, in good and in bad. We love Chile, and living outside has never been an "I want to leave here", it's always been an "I want to go there". Today after 6 years we can say we are Canadians, too, and it's not because Canada is "better", but because this country is also part of us. The people who have loved us, the landscapes that have amazed us, the culture we have learned and shared.
Being Chilean-Canadian is a privilege that we carry with pride and that we share with love. To so many people who have given us so much thanks! We love you, here there and everywhere!

Is anyone else here waiting for an oath after LPP?
Is anyone from October 2025 submissions the same situation or at a similar application stage as me? I’m starting to get worried that my application isn’t moving at all. I got a ghost update on April 9 and I’ve been waiting for LPP since completing my test on March 12. Toronto - Single Applicant.

Applied for my parents in Oct 2025, AOR received in Jan 2026 for both. Background verification, prohibitions, and physical presence were all completed in Feb—no updates since then.
The tracker still shows “Language skills – in progress” and “Citizenship test – not started,” which is confusing since they’re senior citizens and shouldn’t need to take the test.
Not sure if this is just how the system displays it or if something is actually pending. Has anyone been in a similar situation? How long did it take to move forward from this stage?
Also, if there’s a WhatsApp group for tracking timelines, could someone please share the link?

My wife's tracker also shows the same. She's 58 and doesn't need to take test or show language skills. Citizenship oath also shows in progress. And today is our oath ceremony.

I can see that I’m scheduled for that date but I haven’t received the email yet - just called IRCC and they were unhelpful as usual… they just told me to call back by May 18th if I haven’t received it.
