Sept 2024 Applicant. I received Pre arrival, Eligibility in march 2026. My overseas Minor received request for additional docs in April. I received FD and portal requests April 2026.

I’m August 2024 applicant
Received pre arrival and eligibility in march , my minor overseas dependent got a request for additional documents.
I got Ecorp April 14.
No news about dependent abroad.
Unable to link minors application, no call centres to call and request for an update .
Was told I need to send a web form to get updates
Did send one, still no news.anyone has a similar timeline ?

Is your spouse a dependents or only children?
If you spouse is a dependent, the child/children are linked to his/her file.
You can request for their file notes, but you need to submit the form as representative for him/her. When requesting the atip notes, download the form.
That is whst I did to know my spouse and child update.

IRCC agent said I could only request for updates by sending a web form.
Did that it’s more that a week , no update

For my minor dep i already had his G number uci . He is the only overseas dependant. So i can't link it anywhere

I already did. Applied sep 202, transferred to Dar es Salam in April 7 2026, April 20 i got request for additional docs

You cannot link dependants overseas on your GCkey, i was told so by IRCC via a webform and also via immigration lawyers.

All docs submitted the next day
No news till date

Wonder how long I have to wait for medical request or what next steps coz minor dependant can’t give biometrics,too young

It is, but webform or call IRCC thats the options, BUT dont call or send webform too often

Called IRCC and they said they don’t have updates as it’s treated by abroad office and that only way to get an update is to send a web form

Unfortunately no one in the thread seems to provide any info or update . For example me who applied.the same time with my dependant, everything was processed in Mississauga until last month when his app was transferred to overseas office
