After landing here almost 10 years ago, to my citizenship ceremony yesterday.

Proud not now officially be called a Canadian.

Definitely call IRCC tomorrow, first thing in morning is your best chance.

Passport received today, Wednesday, April 29th.
Returned passport pilot program application same day as ceremony (March 13th), message was not opened until April 1st.
Delivery attempted yesterday, Tuesday, April 28th, but I was not home so picked it up today.

Date of issue is April 27th, so looks like they mailed it express to arrive next day (Quebec to Vancouver).

Security screening is now 2+ years, therefore nothing to expect in near future.

Mine and my spouse’s application seems to be stuck as well. Mine is prohibition pending and spouse’s waiting on BG and prohibition. Seems to be stuck at security screening.

AOR - June 2025

Called IRCC and they mentioned its waiting for security screening. Requested GCMS notes today.

Last update on file was in Feb.
