Finally done..got my pr card in mail on march 2….good luck to all of you who are waiting.hope you will get good news soon.

Out of curiosity what was your grounds for your H&C if you don’t mind sharing? Are you the person who appeared to have waited for processing for 4 years having never applied/lived in Quebec? The length to AIP was very long yet length to eCOPR much faster than current processing times. Did you have a more in depth security screening?

Best intrest of children and establishments in canada . Was failed refugee claimant and my spousal application was rejected due to misinterpreting by lawyer . Anyway no I was never in Quebec .. I applied in 2021 . AIP was July 2025 . Second stage documents submitted in Nov 7and decision made on dec 1 2025 portal 2 dec 19 ecopr dec 26 and pr card March 2

Anyone successfully applied for work permit while waiting for AIP? How can anyone maintain status for 4+ years really? I doesn't make any sense.

wife was working ..had savings and also have property back home .financially there was absolutely no issue..

Me and my three kids get PRRA. My husband's passport is expired so he didn't get. I am afraid if my PRRA is rejected, I will be deported without my husband as PRRA results are coming quickly and passport renewal taking way too longer. Any similar experience?

A PRRA is usually assessed individually, even when family members are connected. If a family member has an expired passport, immigration authorities may still consider the family unit when making removal decisions. In some cases, CBSA works with the embassy to obtain a temporary travel document if a passport renewal is delayed. My suggestion is to contact an immigration lawyer as soon as possible before the decision arrives. In the meantime, if you have not already done so, you may consider submitting or relying on a Humanitarian and Compassionate (H&C) application.

Hello everyone. Is there any sign that they will try to process applications faster or anything new? It seems like whoever cannot do refugee claim because of this new C12 bill, they will apply for H&C and backlog will increase.

Doesn’t mean much in terms of processing. You have joined a large backlog in Quebec.
