unfortunately since Trump came there has been a lot of visa refusals
these are some of the expected question
what is the purpose of your trip
who is paying for your trip
how many days are you going to spend in the state
what is your status in the country of origin
do you have any traveling experience
do you have a family or friend in the state

Thanks a lot. Sometimes if there is no enough gap between your last visa rejection and new application, mostly outcome will be refusal. Because officers will be in trouble to change the first officer decision note.

Dear ************,

You are receiving this message because you have an appointment booked at the U.S Consulate in Toronto on 03/10/2026 at 13:15.

At the time of booking your appointment you indicated that you are either a Canadian Citizen or a Canadian Permanent resident.

Applicants will be turned away the day of their interview if unable to present evidence of being a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada. Applicants must present a Canadian Passport or Permanent Resident card, a Record of Landing (IMM1000), or a Confirmation of Permanent Residence (IMM5292 or IMM5688).

The day of your appointment you will be asked to provide one of these documents (in original, copies are not allowed) and it will be given back to you:

  • Canadian Passport
  • Canadian Citizenship Certificate
  • Canadian Permanent Resident Card
  • Record of Landing (IMM1000)
  • Confirmation of Permanent Residence (IMM5292 or IMM5688)

If you have one of the documents listed above, you do not need to take further action. Present your original document on the day of your appointment.

If you are unable to produce any of these documents the day of your appointment you will not be allowed to enter the premises and you will be asked to reschedule your appointment.

If you know you will be unable to produce any of the documents listed above, it is best if you rebook your appointment following these instructions:

In order to continue your visa application process please go back to the appointment website http://usvisa-info.com, log in, then cancel your appointment (once you cancel your appointment it is not guaranteed you will find the same date and time).

Then click on the “gear” icon and select “edit” located to the right of each applicant name.
On the “applicant information page” update the “nationality” if needed. Then click on “Save”.

Answer the rest of the questions truthfully. Make sure to only check the box for “None of the above apply” and click on “Confirm.” Then, continue with the system prompts to book your appointment.

If you run into any issues, please contact our support team at https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-ca/niv/information/contact_us
