Hello! I applied for Permanent Residency (PR) under the PnP non-express stream in February 2024 I received the "Invitation to Pre-arrival Services" on March 6, 2025. However, since then, there has been no update for 10 months. My "Final Decision" status has remained "In Progress" since March 5, 2025. and still haven't received my P1. I am currently pregnant and due in April. How can I contact IRCC and expedite the processing? Should I contact my local MP for assistance, and simultaneously submit the webform and GMS? Can anyone give me some advice? I am very worried.
Thank you so much!!!

You appear to be undergoing normal processing. There is no expedited processing in general but also for pregnancy. Pre-arrival is just an administrative step sometime after eligibility and has nothing to do with being near the end of processing. It really should be renamed because it leads to so much confusion. Would compare your processing time to others in the same pathway to get a better idea of approximate processing timeframe.

Thank you! The processing time for my application is currently 13 months. My application is 23 months old, 10 months overdue. I have two friends who applied for the same program and have both received their Permanent Residency (PR) almost a year ago.

What are others experiencing in terms of processing time not just your friends because that is a small sample size. Where is the 13 months posted?
