[URGENT] Out of status after PGWP extension denial / Restoration Refused. Need advice.

Hi everyone, I am in a complicated situation regarding my status in Canada and need advice on my next steps. Here is my timeline:

Landed: 2023

Education: Attended college in Ontario (Sept 2023 – April 2024).

Work Permit: Received a 1-year PGWP valid from May 2024 to June 2025.

Extension Application: I applied for an extension, but it was denied in December.

Current Status: I have currently run out of status.

Recent Update: I received another denial just two days ago [ restoration application].

I am currently in Ontario and unsure of my options. Has anyone been in a similar situation or have advice on whether I can apply for restoration again, or if I need to make arrangements to leave immediately?

Any insight is appreciated.

My crs is currently 385 and I'm currently improving my english. I'm 32 years old.

So you are out of status and cannot work now. Best to plan on leaving because you cannot restore a PGWP that is expired. There are no options if you don't have a LMIA or have received ITA. You want a score much higher than 385. Did you get a year of Canadian experience from May - June to be eligible for CEC.

Application and request for restoration refused as per R179 - Client is requesting restoration of temporary resident status and a visitor record. Client last entered Canada on 13may2023 and was authorized to remain in Canada as a temporary resident until 16dec2025. Client has remained in Canada since without authorization. Client has failed to comply with the condition imposed under R185(a) to leave Canada. As per A47(a) temporary resident status has been lost. Restoration eligibility period ended on 16mar2026. Client is requesting a visitor record valid to 15mar2027 as a returning worker as per IMM 5708 application form. Client indicates on application for that he intends to visit Cambrian College during their stay. Client has provided a Deposit Payment Receipt from Cambrian College dated 01oct2025 indicating client's place in the Developmental Services Worker program has been reserved for the Winter 2026 semester. Appears client's purpose to remain in Canada is to attend classes at Cambrian College. Client's most recent work permit application has been refused. I am not satisfied the client continues to meet the Act and Regulations as a genuine temporary resident who will leave Canada at the end of the authorized stay. This application and request for restoration of temporary resident status is refused. Client advised must leave Canada. Fee category changed to "Restoration of Status, pre-Dec 2025" to facilitate refusal.
