Hi, is anyone here with an oath date of January 28 or 29 who hasn’t received the invitation email yet? Would appreciate any confirmation.

Received the oath invitation email a week ago. It was an in-person ceremony at IRCC Mississauga even though I live in Stoney Creek (Hamilton) and I chose to receive e-certificate

Received email invitation this evening to take the Oath of Citizenship on January 28, 2026 .

LPP completed 28 Nov ,no action after that ,waiting for OATH email ,anyone in same boat

Hello everyone .... I have applied for citizenship application for me and my wife (see timeline below)
I have received oath ceremony date, but my wife file is still stuck at LPP.

Application submitted: Jun 18th
AOR: Aug 5th
Background check completed: Aug 8th
Test Request: Jan 31st
Test Completed: Nov 18th (test given on Nov 15th)
Nov 25th (Appeared for test on Nov 22nd) (Wife)

Scheduled for interview: Jan 7th (myself only)
LPP completed: Jan 7th
Scheduled for oath: Jan 9th
Oath date: Jan 31st

Wife file is stuck at LPP even though application filed the same day and Test was given a week later. She was not invited for interview like me.
Has anyone faced the similar situation? What could be the reason for delay??

Any help or direction will be appreciated.

What did they ask you in the interview?
Did you try calling IRCC regarding your wife's application or submitted any webform?
You can also apply for GCMS notes, but it takes time to get the information.

Questions in interview was in regard to cross border travel as I work in US.
Wife called IRCC and they said the same thing which shows online. Nothing new.
What are GCMS notes and how do I request that?

Usually Language, Physical Presence and Prohibitions completed at the same time for most of the applicants. But for some Physical presence and Prohibitions will remain. I do not understand why language too did not complete so far. If it is Physical Presence and Prohibitions, I think it might be useful If we send webform with I 94 travel history, Passport scanned copies with entry exit stamps helps and anything you feel like clarifying such as maintained status.

Not sure why they are separating our cases we filed together.

I feel like with GCMS notes request you will know detailed information about the application Any deadlines to make decision on the application.

Yes, I added all the records for physical presence, and she was not requested to appear for interview along with me & not asked any documents.
How can send webform with all the documents so that it can help them to process file forward.
