I'm under comp security check since Oct 24, 2024. I applied on Feb 27, 2024, PVO Sydney, SVO Montreal. That is absolute BS being treated like this without a single simple answer as a human in 2026 in a "first-world country" after living here for 5 years, paying taxes, and getting a Ph.D.

I know, I apply long time ago, and I'm in Canada for 6 years. My journey did start with Ontario Provincial nomination on March 1, 2022. yes that is 4 years ago.

I can see COPR number in Status Tracker on Jan 05.. FD in GCkey on Jan 02. How long will it take to get P1? Any idea?

Express Entry is always faster but it depends on certain factors like security or criminality checks. If you are stuck on these checks, both streams can take forever.

In the event that one of the streams completes, how do I cancel the other application? Will it cancel on its own once you get the eCOPR on the other? Say, the Non EE finishes, do I need to call or send a webform to cancel the EE?

so what does that means?
