work permit extention

Hi ,

can any one tell me the work permit extenstion timeline.
i applied on augest .still wating for that.
any one tell me when they post to mail . do we get any notification for that( like posted something like that)

First you get an "automatic" wp extension few days after applying it and while it's still being processed, a few weeks/months later you get an approval or refusal notification letter inside the ircc platform, if it's approved you get the wp at home around 2-4 weeks after this letter.

But they don't notify you "hey we just posted your wp today in the mail".

i got my temporary 1 year work permit letter ( july) . then my biometric updated ( september) .

so still there is any other approval letter is there? to issue proper work permit extension (approval or refusal) ?
