Hi everyone, I just want to double-check that I uploaded my Procedural Fairness response for my tourist visa in the correct place in my IRCC account.


After signing in, I went to check application status, and at the top of the page there’s a link that says “How to submit additional documents.” When I click that, it takes me to the upload section where I can add files under Client Information.


I uploaded my response letter there, clicked Submit, and now the status shows Submitted with the file name listed.

The reason I’m double-checking is that this upload page looks a bit different from the general instructions on the IRCC website from You asked me for a new document. How do I submit it? even though it’s linked directly from my application page. The instructions on that webpage were not available when I logged in.

Has anyone else submitted a Procedural Fairness response this way?

Just want to confirm this is the correct place and that nothing else is required.

You need to submit it the way you were asked to do that in the PFL.
The PFL says:



To Provide Your Additional Information

Go to your IRCC secure account, click on the "View Checklist" button beside your application number and follow the instructions provided on that page.

You must provide any additional information/documents) within the timeframe indicated in your online portal account. You will not be able to submit any additional documents electronically after this timeframe has expired.



There was no view checklist -

There was “Check full application status” then when you click that under it, it says:

“Check the status and review the details of your application. How to submit additional documents” which we clicked on


The terminology on the forum and the letter is different so that is the issue and why I am asking, thanks.

There's no way you can upload it in the wrong place. The upload button specifically appears for the PFL purpose and you cannot miss it really. It pops up only if they request something.
