Fear of Misrepresentation, need help

I lost my passport, reported to police and got a new passport in my homecountry, while I was applying for study permit I didnt mention about lost passport as no form explicitly asking for it, but however while I file for PR I will write an LOE and mention about lost passport.
Am I getting misrepresentation as per s.40(1)
Or how does it work?
