Citizenship grant security screening waiting time

I applied to become a Canadian citizen in March 2025, one month later at the same time I received aor, my file was sent to csis for security screening. Howk long will this potion take? I heard some scary waiting time about that, can take years, is it true?

There is no set timeline. If it does take multiple years a writ of mandamus may be your best option to try to get make the government make a decision.
