Thank you! I don't even know if I have FD on my gckey because I am using consultant. What happened on my tracker was I received an RL asking for my spouse's passport renewal because it was expiring; though we renewed therefore uploaded right away and the next day background check was completed and started seeing COPR number. No further update was on the tracker (eligibility still shows not started, though we received PAL in May 2025) P1 came on 13th Nov and P2 17th Nov. On 28th I received another P1 which I replied too, but it is just a glitch I think. But P1 and P2 were emails, no update on tracker.
Thank you, hope you'll receive it sooner than you expect! Me uploaded photos and address on 17th Nov. What I understand is that IRCC somehow actively sending emails to clear their tables, so anyone who passed thru P2 would get email before end of this year.
Yes the document list starts with IMM5710, followed by offer of employment online, passport and so on. Make sure the documents list includes provincial nomination certificate(PNC) and Letter of support from province and you should in the right place.
If I recall correctly the IMM5802 form is optional and you would only have it for exceptional cases where your employer wasn’t able to submit the offer of employment online in the portal. I did not submit this form.
Hi @Miss bee , I have a question regarding the Imm 0008_4e form, under the Prov stream/category, I filled International Graduate Stream/ Non Express Entry, will this be an issue for a return.
My province is PEI and I applied under the International Graduate Stream for PEI. I’m more concerned about that “Non express Entry” I included. Thank you

No, this should not cause your application to be returned. The PEI International Graduate Stream is a provincial nominee stream that falls under the non-Express Entry category, so writing “International Graduate Stream / Non-Express Entry” on the IMM 0008 form is accurate and consistent with your nomination. IRCC determines whether an application is Express Entry or non-Express Entry based on the provincial nomination certificate and the application pathway used, not solely on how this field is worded. As long as PEI is correctly listed and the stream name matches your nomination, this entry should not negatively affect your application or lead to a return.

I’m just wondering if anyone knows or have experienced getting an application update on GCkey but saw nothing in the account itself.
I saw the status change from submitted to application update or something but when I clicked the file, nothing has changed. I’m an October applicant, received PAL in September and no update since the week I got my PAL. I also checked my tracker but it still reflects the last time I made an inquiry back in October.
Appreciate any thoughts about this. Thank you!

This situation usually happens because GCKey sometimes shows a “ghost update,” which means the system refreshes or an officer opens or touches the file without issuing any new message, request, or document. When this occurs, the status may briefly change to “application updated,” but once you open the application, nothing new appears and no email notification is sent. Since you already received your PAL and there has been no change in the tracker, it likely indicates internal processing rather than a decision or action required from you. These ghost updates are common and do not necessarily mean approval or refusal; they simply show that your file is still active and being worked on.

I submitted my Non-EE application on January 29, 2025. Still waiting for my AOR, I just wanted to clarify something that has been bothering me for a few weeks now. When I first submitted my application, I did not realized that the translation for my birth certificate had a small typo on the serial number of my birth certificate (it has an extra number that it shouldnt have). I wonder if that is going to be a problem or if they will return my application because of that. I believe I asked this question before but unfortunately I cant find ther answer anywhere and its not on my previous questions in my profile. So I would really appreaciate your input on this and if there is anything that I should do before I get the AOR. Thanks!

I faced a similar delay from FD to PPR/RFV. FD received on 17 Feb and PPR/RFV on 10 Apr 2025.
Usually, PPR/RFV arrives on same or within 24-hours of FD however in some cases it can take time.

Thank you for your response. Will it eventually come? I have seen some people waited for 4 months and still waiting, beginning to think our files are abandoned
@Miss bee I got portal one today instead of PPR after a long wait(fd 5 Nov, 2025) although i did KAI, and i have already replied that i am outside canada.
Will this new development not lead to an increase in wait again?
When can i expect PPR mail, i mean just a prediction

You should reply to that email that you are outside Canada and also send a webform to notify them . It can take another few weeks to get PPR request email due to holidays coming up.

No , there won't be any issues due to error in birth certificate. However when you get AOR , scan correct copy of birth certificate and send it through webform.
