I have just received a Procedural Fairness letter stating the following:

I note the following concerns:

  • Based on the MPNP’s employment verification process, it was determined that you are no longer employed at Petvalu since November 30, 2025. Therefore, it does not appear that you currently have a full-time, long-term job offer with a qualifying Manitoba employer.
Application guidelines found on www.immigratemanitoba.com clearly indicate that the MPNP may not approve an application if the program officer is not satisfied that:

  • the information provided in an application matches the Expression of Interest (EOI) and/or supporting documents provided substantiate claims made in the EOI submission

  • the applicant meets the eligibility criteria under which the application is being assessed

  • the applicant has provided accurate, credible, and complete information in support of their application.
Before a decision is made on your application, I am providing you with the opportunity to respond to the above concerns and provide additional documentation as required. Each file must be in PDF or JPG format and be less than 2 MB. Please upload these documents to your MPNP Online file and fill out the Skilled Worker Webform at Skilled Worker Webform | Manitoba Immigration.

You have 30 days to respond to our concerns.

If you choose not to respond with additional information or the new information provided by you is not satisfactory in addressing the above concerns, a decision will be made based on the information available to the MPNP.

My question is, does that mean that I have to get another full-time, long-term job offer with another qualifying Manitoba employer within the 30 day time frame from the moment the letter have been issued?

Can you extend the amount of time given, and does it have to be the same NOC as a previous employment?

I have provided the letter explaining my situation and difficulty finding a job, but I am not certain that I will be able to find the job that fulfils all of the above requirements within such a short timeframe.

Can anything else be done in my case?

Thank you

1. Yes, you need another Jo with an eligible employer willing to support your nomination.
2. Don't know what stream, but the job must meet the requirements. You have 30 days as stated.
3. The stream requires a job offer so you need to have a job for application to be approved.

I applied for Manitoba Provincial Nominee Programm - Skilled Workers in Manitoba Stream.

From the information that I was able to find out it appears that your new employment has to have the same TEER

So you have 30 days to find an eligible employer with job

Thank you for reply!

After submitting documents status of my application has changed from document request to Assessment Pending. Not quite sure what to expect here
If you have submitted a new, eligible job offer then it would change because they need to assess whether you are still eligible.

I actually submitted a letter explaining that due to the fact that it's winter, it's hard to find a new job because most companies put a hiring processes on hold and I would like MPNP to take those circumstances and the fact that I am willing to contribute towards Manitoba's growth and prosperity and my siblings have already obtained a PR into consideration

So you wait but expect refusal as you were given 30 days. When does your work permit expire? Do siblings live in Manitoba?
