I am June 2023. Still nothing so I extend my work permit they only send me one year. Usually I know 2 years . Anybody knows why ?

Probably because you are close tl get your PR. Im from Aug 2023. I renewed it early , on april this year and my new WP is for 2 years

Did they send to your home address physical work permit which is valid for one year? Or are you talking about the temporary extension they send after your submission?

I’m still waiting.., I called today and the agent said she will leave a note for the officer. I don’t know what’s happening for sure.

I will advice you to keep disturbing them with calls. I got my P2 yesterday.

Please advise I applied in July 2023 and in September 2024 I received pre arrival services email then eligibility approval then I didn’t heard back. Is anyone who got update on it.

you can not link your application until you get permanent application number.

Do you think it is normal till now after 16 month still with temporary application number ?

Its not normal. Did you check your email inbox and spam? They must have sent you permanent application number. In 16/18 months applicant receives eligibility and pre arrival letter.
You can try linking you application with your temporary application number but with out X.
If you have representative you need to ask them about your application.
And also apply for AITP note.

I meant GCMS (Global Case Management System) Note. you want get it to get full details, timeline, stages, comments of your application.

I was watching other threads and some lady and her husband applied for pr as protected person in 2024july and they have already received ecopr just waiting for pr cards and they’re from haiti…

When you receive your P1, there’s a high chance that your family member’s background check has only just begun. I’ve already received my ecopr, but my spouse is still being processed.

But maybe it’s just my case. Wish you good luck.
