Hey folks, does anyone know or has any idea how long it takes IRCC to review address and photo once submitted on the portal? Recently got my P1, and P2 after 2 days; both submitted the same day. After P2 in portal the status shows as "in review with IRCC" since 17th Nov. Just trying to figure out how long it would've taken them to approve it.
Did you receive eCOPR?

Hey miss bee, i applied my non express pnp on dec 5 2024. Recieved Aor and Bil on oct 17 2025.I used my medical from 2020 sep at the time of filing and on pr tracker biometrics is in progess, eligibility not started ,background in progess and medical was showing completed until yesterday.IRCC requested new medical(etobicoke office).Should i worry or is it normal.

Hi Miss Bee,
Thank you for always clarifying things. I need your advice again. Actually, I received Portal 1 and Portal 2 emails from the Etobicoke office, but I did not receive a Final Decision letter. It has been more than three weeks since I replied to Portal 2, and I have not received any update or eCOPR.
Is the FD letter mandatory, or is it fine if I haven’t received it? And how long does eCOPR usually take after submitting photographs?

Thank you for your help.

Those were essentially your FD letters. How long until you receive eCOPR can vary quite a lot.

It's fine . These days there is delay in getting ECOPR.

Thank you for your reply. In the absence of FD (and until I receive ECORP) what document can be used to show that I have "In-Principle" approval?
Unfortunately there is no documentation to prove In- Principle approval. You are still a temporary resident unless you get your ECOPR and have no option rather that waiting .

It’s completely normal and you don’t need to worry. Because you used a very old medical exam from 2020, IRCC could only reuse it temporarily, and once your file reached the review stage the Etobicoke office requested a new medical to update your medical validity. This request actually means your application is moving forward, not backward. Your PR tracker statuses—biometrics in progress, eligibility not started, background in progress—are also typical for non-Express Entry PNP files, where the system often shows “not started” even while officers are already reviewing. The change from “medical completed” to a new medical request simply means they are preparing your file for the final decision. Once you complete the new medical and it’s updated in the system, your file will continue normally. Overall, this is routine, expected, and a positive sign that your application is being processed.
