Hi everyone, I have a question about the OINP Employer Job Offer – Foreign Worker Stream.

Right now, my current wage is below the median wage required for my NOC. However, my employer has confirmed they are willing to increase my salary to the median wage once I receive an invitation or nomination.

For the EOI profile and job offer submission, should I enter:
• my current wage, or
• the new (median) wage that my employer will pay after invitation?

Will putting my current wage make me ineligible or reduce my chances of being selected in the draw?

If anyone has experience with this, I’d really appreciate your advice. Thank you!

Your wage must meet requirements when you submit submission. Don't know your score, NOC or region so cannot comment on if you will be invited. So your employer is not even going to pay salary until nominated? They need to increase wage now.

If you are already working in the position, the wage of the job offer must be equal to or greater than the wage level that the employer currently pays you in that position, in addition to meeting or exceeding the median wage level.

Agree that your employer should have raised your salary at least months before you apply so it doesn’t create concerns that the raise is purely related immigration and may not be permanent.
