Hi. I hold canadian PR and sponsored my 3 year old inland child. I got a letter to do medicals, completed. and 3 days later I received another letter from IRCC that states - We are pleased to inform you that you have met the eligibility requirements as a sponsor.
If the Right of Permanent Residence Fee is applicable to your application and you have chosen to
defer payment of that fee, you can make your payment at any time by following payment link. Once completed, please send the payment receipt via the IRCC Web form. Can you plz help understand if the fee to be paid for dependent child (inland) is 85CAD? thanks

Yes I got an email next day with the application number saying that the application was received. I am able to create an account in the tracker now.

Hi! Thanks for sharing your timeline. We actually submitted our inland application on the same day as yours, and our AOR is also on the same date. But since AOR, we haven’t received anything further — no sponsorship eligibility and no medical request. It has been almost three months stuck at AOR.

May I ask which visa office is processing your file and which office sent you the medical request and sponsorship eligibility letter? I’m starting to feel like no one has picked up my child’s application yet.

HI, I think visa office or processing center does not matter here. you have to first understand the trues status of your application.

Inland PR application should not take much time regardless of the complexity the application had. I think you are missing something. Would need to talk to you to understand your situation better. What is the status of your application in the GC key account or in the tracker ?

I dont think so. for minor child only we paid the application fee which is around 180 i guess. Thats it, rest we did not pay anything.

Final Decision in GC Key now: "November 6, 2025 Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made."

We can see her COPR number in the application tracker portal.

Can you estimate or tell from your experience how long it may take her to receive the Portal 1 ?
She entered into Canada on 25 May, 2025. Its almost 6 months. I have to apply to extend her visitor record/permit as 6 month duration is almost over.

I did not apply. I submitted the photo and the address of PR card on that day. the status shows currently under review by ircc. now just waiting for the ECOPR. technically she is overstaying from tomorrow. Lets see.

ok Thankss, Could you please share the timeline of yours, that would help to track

mine medicals completed but still waiting for the update. by dec mid might need to apply for extension i guess. Thanks
