Proof of Funds: Format of Gift Deed, Affidavit and LOE

Hi all,

Please I received a gift deed from my mum on several cash deposits but unfortunately two out of four of the cash deposits were done by my brother (whom my mum just sent to deposit). How can I go about explaining this in my application, given that the bank statement will have a cash deposit with NY brother's name and my mum as well.

Also I am receiving all money from my mum for my spouse and I, doe sthe gift deed need to mention both our names.

Just to add, my police certificate from my country has residence as UK instead of United Kingdom in full, does that pose a problem please

Get a gift deed documentation done. Not sure what your mother being a tax-payer has to do with it.

Use threaded responses, because it is hard to know who you are asking this otherwise.

6 month statement isn't a mandate tbh, some do 3 months some do more. Attaching it helps a lot though, do gift deed + attach 6 months statement - simply because attaching a 6 month statement takes no significant effort on our end and is better than getting an ADR for it.

Hi! Can the gift deed be issued in any currency? According to the law in my country (Uzbekistan), the gift deed can be issued in Uzbek soums, but the funds were transferred in dollars via bank transfer.

People generally do gift deed transfers in their own local currency. The translation of gift deed letter would be another thing. When I submitted my PoF, it wasn't in dollars either. So, a gift deed transfer in local currency should logically make no material difference in your eligibility criteria for PoF.
