I don't know I can be counted as "received oath invite" because I haven't received official email for that. But I checked my Tracker today (changed date on my mobile phone) and it says Oath scheduled for Dec 15. I'm in Burnaby. AOR 24 June, LPP 09 Oct
Great, thanks for the reply. Hope you receive the invite soon.

BG, LPP still in progress. No updates since Sep 4. Anyone in same boat?

I'm feeling pretty left out of the Vancouver progress... Last update was BG complete in July and nothing since. Starting to thing I need to request my notes... I know there are two different ways to request, curious which gives the best info?

At least 10 people in this thread.

I tried logging into Tracker but couldn’t. I changed the date back to November 10, and then I was able to log in and saw the update for the oath. I logged out, changed the date back, tried again, and Tracker is now working with the correct date.

I thought that once we received the ceremony invitation, my dependent daughter’s status would automatically update to “completed,” but it still shows “language” and “background verification” as “in progress,” and “test” as “not started,” even though she already got the ceremony invitation. Though I’m not bothered with that.

It also says for all of us: “Oath or affirmation of citizenship form required.” What is this form? I only received the Personal Release & Consent Form by email.

I understand from your timeline that " oath ceremony email is (Received email invitation on Nov 12, 2025)" in that email there will be attachment which has the invitation letter, if you read the last page in that letter is Oath or affirmation of citizenship form, after ceremony you have to sign, scan and send in the email they have provided. for minor i think below 14 you dont need to send the form the information is provided in the invitation letter. after you send the Oath or affirmation of citizenship form in email - in few days you get the citizenship certificate

There is no such form attached to the email that was sent. The final page titled ‘Personal Release and Consent Form’ only refers to granting permission for photo and video use — nothing more.

I think the oath invite email is different for in-person vs virtual ceremonies. For my virtual invite, the permission for photo and video was assumed by participation in the e-ceremony, and the last page had the oath affirmation form we were supposed to sign and send back. My guess is that for in-person ceremonies, the form may be there for you because you can sign in-person so no email required. There should be some in-person ceremony videos on youtube you can look.

As per the in-person invitation, important notes #3 Citizenship certificate: We will confirm your choice of citizenship certificate type (paper certificate or e-certificate) at the ceremony. Paper certificates are given at the ceremony.

I was thinking the same. The email format for both the in-person and virtual invitations is identical, which is causing some confusion. The only attachment I received was the personal consent form, which I’ve already printed, signed, and will bring with me on the day of the ceremony. I assume the other form will be provided to us during registration at the ceremony. Thanks for the suggestion—I’ll definitely look for available videos online.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t aware that I would be invited to an in-person ceremony. I definitely would have chosen the paper certificate, but I believe it’s too late now since I already selected the e-certificate. It’s only a matter of waiting a couple of extra days, so that’s fine.
