Yes, it is completely acceptable to use the current version of the Schedule A – Background Declaration (IMM 5669) form available on the official IRCC website, as the link provided in your Additional Information Request is an internal IRCC link that is not accessible to applicants. Many applicants encounter this same issue, and IRCC accepts the publicly available version of the form without any problem. Since the personal history section on the form does not provide enough space to include your entire timeline, it is also perfectly fine to continue your personal history on a separate sheet. Make sure the continuation page is clearly labeled with your full name, UCI, and application number at the top, and indicate that it is a continuation of question 8 (“Personal History”) from the Schedule A form. List your activities in chronological order without any gaps, matching the columns from the original form (From, To, Activity, City/Country, and Status). You can type it in a Word or PDF document, and it’s a good idea to sign and date the continuation sheet at the end. Once completed, combine the form and the continuation sheet into a single PDF file and upload it through the link or webform provided in your Additional Document Request. This approach is fully accepted by IRCC and will ensure your response meets all their requirements.
Thanks so much for your reply :)

Which browser are you using? Sometimes it has an issue with browser. I have downloaded opera and it was working while it has an error with other browsers.
Nah, I tried using Opera, it still says site can’t be reached. But I’ve already sent the required documents through the web form, including the extra page on personal history and stuff.

Hi @Miss bee
I have a quick question please
I have a residence of UAE while i applied for PR and after FD updated in GCkey so i have decided to cancel my UAE residence and go back to my home country while i am still waiting for PPR so do i need to update IRCC about this as i will be no longer residing no legal status of residence here in UAE
Thanks
Yes, you should inform IRCC about this change in your residence status. Since you initially applied for Permanent Residence while residing in the UAE and now plan to cancel your UAE residence and return to your home country, it is important to update IRCC through a web form. This ensures that your current address, country of residence, and legal status are accurately reflected in your file. Providing this update helps IRCC know where to send any future correspondence, such as your Passport Request (PPR) or Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR). Include a brief explanation stating that you have given up your UAE residence status and are now residing in your home country, along with your new address details.

Hey folks (and @Miss bee possibly would have an anwser or idea) need help with a specific question if you don't mind. It's been 16 months now (application date 2024 June, AOR Oct 2024) and haven't been receiving any request letter or haven't had any movement on my application since June 2025, when the last RL was submitted. Now on 10th November I received another request letter asking for my spouse's renewed passport to be submitted within 30 days as her passport expires in 2026 March. On 11th November 2025 we submitted as we renewed the passport already. Even though we are inland, being asked for the passport renewal gave me the impression that the application is now on very very final stage (of the final stage of the very final stage...) and that it is not a generated/automated message but the officer is actually about to make a decision, therefore sent this request. Any ideas, should it make me get ready for the big news? (Thank you!)

That’s actually a very positive sign — and your reasoning is spot-on.When IRCC specifically asks for a renewed passport, it’s almost always a manual, officer-initiated request, not an automated one. The reason is that the validity of the passport directly affects the visa counterfoil and COPR document expiry date (since those can’t extend beyond your passport’s validity). So, the officer reviewing your file likely reached the final decision stage, saw that your spouse’s passport was expiring in early 2026, and needed an updated copy before finalizing your case.
In most inland PR applications, this request appears:
After eligibility, criminality, and medicals are passed,
  • Right before security wraps up or the final approval (PPR or eCOPR) stage.Given your timeline (AOR Oct 2024, last ADR in June 2025, and this new request in Nov 2025), your file is clearly back in active review. Officers don’t revisit dormant files just to update a passport unless they’re preparing to issue confirmation documents. So yes — this is definitely a “get ready” signal. You’re likely at the tail end of the process, and it could take anywhere from a few days to several weeks after submission for finalization (some applicants get updates within 1–4 weeks after sending renewed passports).
In short:
Yes, you should start getting ready for the “big news.” The passport request is a strong indicator your file is in its last stage of review or approval.

Thank you for your amazing insight @Miss bee that is very precious!

My GCMS was showing back in October that info sharing, eligibility, medical, criminality all passed but security 'not started'; now I assume this step has been finalized too even though it is not visible in the tracker or pfa. Hoping to get the golden mail soo !

Thank you once again for the explanation!

Hi @Miss bee I hope you are doing well! Quick question please. Is it a bad sign that in gcms biometrics info status says Info: Received- Match. Does that mean something is wrong ?

That status is not a bad sign — it simply means IRCC has your fingerprints and photo, they’ve been received into the system, and those prints successfully matched existing immigration records (i.e., they found a biometric record for you), which is a routine identity-verification result rather than a “criminal hit.” After you give biometrics IRCC encrypts and checks them against Canadian (and partner) databases to confirm identity and help with security/criminality checks, and a plain “Received – Match” normally indicates the biometrics step is complete and valid rather than a problem that needs action. If there were a derogatory or problematic match IRCC or the RCMP would follow up separately; otherwise you can take “Received – Match” as a routine, positive step in your PNP non-Express Entry file.

Hello.. just wondering if anyone have the same situation. I failed to put a work experience when I was applying for student visa, and now I am applying for PR under pnp non express I am planning to add it in my activity history. Will this be a problem? I dont claim points for it and also my nomination is not based on that work experience either. Thanks for your help.
