The Minister of Immigration, instead of working on the important files of her department and fixing the growing problems, literally spends her time attending purely symbolic events that have nothing to do with her actual duties.
Last week, she was at the Lebanese Culture Month in Canada, then she went to Nova Scotia, and after that she celebrated Remembrance Day and now she’s posting a picture of herself eating shawarma...
She’s driving us crazy while we live in growing uncertainty, marginalization, and constant stress !

Her riding is in NS and most of the MPs were in their home ridings this weekend & remembrance day. Very normal for Ministers to attend events. If anything she has been rarely in public. Bureaucrats do the majority of the work not the minister. Also can’t do much with H&C until Bill c-12. Have plenty of criticism of Diab but this is normal job duties & MPs go back to visit their families & their ridings regularly.
