There is a pilot program called Centralized Concurrent Processing Pilot (CCPP). It was launched by IRCC to improve family reunification for protected persons.
It was supposed to allow protected persons in Canada to submit permanent residence applications for themselves and their dependents abroad at the same time, through a centralized intake at the Case Processing Centre in Mississauga A.
This pilot program was thought to be helpful for dependents in hard to reach or conflict-affected regions, such as Ethiopia, Eritrea, Sudan, or Somalia.
