Yeah.....still No!I want to share a question about Procedural Fairness Letter
The Minister of Immigration, instead of working on the important files of her department and fixing the growing problems, literally spends her time attending purely symbolic events that have nothing to do with her actual duties.
Last week, she was at the Lebanese Culture Month in Canada, then she went to Nova Scotia, and after that she celebrated Remembrance Day and now she’s posting a picture of herself eating shawarma...
She’s driving us crazy while we live in growing uncertainty, marginalization, and constant stress !

This minister of immigration is a joke. Pictures all days, celebrations of Lebanon culture, food, music, ideology, color ect… every day’s. It’s seem this woman work for only Lebanon’s
They're back...Not a fan of minister Diab but attending an event in her riding that overlaps with her role as immigration minister is just normal politics. Most MPs will have also attended local community events when they were back in their ridings in the last week. There are plenty of things to criticize about the immigration minister this is not one of them.
Well, I hope she’s resting well, because she needs enough energy to deal with the problems in her ministry…Her riding is in NS and most of the MPs were in their home ridings this weekend & remembrance day. Very normal for Ministers to attend events. If anything she has been rarely in public. Bureaucrats do the majority of the work not the minister. Also can’t do much with H&C until Bill c-12. Have plenty of criticism of Diab but this is normal job duties & MPs go back to visit their families & their ridings regularly.
This will tell you the type and majority of immigrants in quebec and outside quebec are different when it comes to petitions or protest.I looked now at the number of signatures on the petition submitted to the House of Commons about H&C applications, and I noticed that the number of signatures coming from Quebec is extremely low, even though it’s the province with the second-highest number of applicants in Canada after Ontario. Not to mention that applicants in Quebec face an even slower process because they need a CSQ, and the Quebec government doesn’t plan to accept many Humanitarian and Compassionate applicants in 2026…
Not to mention that the Approval in Principle doesn’t play a major role in accessing social services in Quebec, for example, to get RAMQ, which is the equivalent of the OHIP card, you need a CSQ and the same goes for paying tuition fees at the Quebec resident rate.
I really don’t understand what’s happening with applicants in Quebec. Do they realize the situation they’re in ?
Well, I hope she’s resting well, because she needs enough energy to deal with the problems in her ministry…
