My master’s degree was awarded by a university in Country A, but I actually studied in Country B through a local school that has an official partnership with that university. Professors from the Country A university came to Country B to teach and handle exams, but I never lived or studied physically in Country A.
In the Express Entry form, I listed the university’s country as Country A (since that’s its headquarters). Now the system is asking me for a police certificate from Country A, which I obviously can’t get because I’ve never lived there.
Has anyone here dealt with this situation where your degree is from one country but all classes took place in another? Did IRCC accept a Letter of Explanation or did they still insist on the police certificate?
