I’m Indian, I lived in Australia for 5 years, and travelled US few times before. So My security had to go through both the countries. But both countries were done back in November 2023 as per the notes. I can see the notes from US and I submitted PCC from Australia which they received in October 2023.

Its not even started as per the notes, its standard: mine is delayed because of my travel history most probably, or my officer doesn’t touch my file more often, I received pre-arrival and eligibility in June 2025, which is a year late than usual. Kinda disappointed. My GCkey is not even updated - it still shows we are reviewing eligibility. After my enquiries over the phone with representatives when I finished the processing time back in August, they left a note - applicants file is in queue no further actions taken. They dont need anything from my end so far.

The security check should start after inf sharing.

After NOD. You can get them but you should not use them.

i am march 2024 applicant quebec, i know this is for 2023, but i have 2 questions can we travel and come back before getting pr with rtd,

and what are the steps where you hear something from ircc like updates emails, and around when, i only got aor and biometrics and that was it, nothing after, even asked for gc notes in june this year but never got it.

What do you mean by traveling? Yes you can go on vacation if RTD is accepted by the country you want to visit. Are you suggesting leaving Canada for a long period of time.

That is why, I think the immigration should have the better system to detect who is the guenine claim for aslyum and H&C grounds. Now, the timeline is very lenghthy, some dishonest people will make use and benefit of it. They will stay as long as they can when their application is under processing. We are not the expert. But normal people like us can think this way, how can they implement the better solution to provide those people made genuine claim. Sign
