Agree with them being useless, they know even less than the average person in this thread and even sometimes lie. The notes are the only source of truth.

It’s probably better to order notes from CBSA as soon as possible to know what’s going on. Although it probably doesn’t help, my conclusion is they just missed some people in the background event.

The only thing in common among all of us seems to be Vancouver primary office and Sydney secondary office. Judging from the lack of an assigned officer to my application, they might have a personnel problem or even forgot about us.

Yeah I just ordered notes. I called them and its the same as above, they just said my background check is in progress and there is nothing pending from me at this moment…

I'm sure there is a reason that applications get moved out to regional offices but the variability in processing times are very frustrating. I recognize that this things are not purely First In, First Out, but it just seems it should be close to that. Just venting as I'm sure everyone does on occasion... Still no update since BG Complete in July.

I think it is understandable and ok to be frustrating and vent sometimes, these processes are out of our hands and that uncertainty does not feel good. I hope you get an update soon!

A lot of people getting LPP done this week. While I haven’t even gotten background verification completed yet. Wonder if thats an issue.

In the same boat as well. Just a GU on Aug 30th. So frustrating. Received GCMS notes on October 2nd and it says "Grant Interview Ready In-Person". Still no interview notice though.
