Anybody please have an idea how long it takes to Approve PR for protected person specially govt employees . It takes too longer compared to others? I passed 19 months, only criminality passed.

See the timeline between final decision and eCOPR. It is a month and a half, not four days. Anyway, there is a red flag on the G number. It is hard to believe that IRCC would issue a G number within three days, especially since they need to make sure the application is complete. Also, there is no way IRCC issues a Pre-arrival in two months. They need to complete certain pre-screening steps before that. So, I think it is one of the fake accounts.

Thanks for your comment.

I understand your doubts timelines can vary widely, especially for protected persons. But I can assure you my case is 100% real.

Protected person applications often move faster in some stages and slower in others, depending on the office handling the file. My G number was indeed issued within three days.

Also, pre-arrival letters are sometimes triggered early when eligibility is marked as “passed” in the system it doesn’t always follow the same pattern as economic class applications.

Everything I shared is based on my verified GCKey timeline.

Anyway If you don’t believe it, that’s totally fine just skip the post instead of questioning someone’s credibility. I gain nothing from sharing this, I only posted my real timeline to give hope and helpful insight to others, just as I once benefited from this forum and its members.

Good luck to everyone still waiting!

Processing Time updated to 30 months :(
It’s good news, which means they’ve restarted work on our cases. The published processing time of 29 months refers to old cases that were already completed in 29 months, not to future ones. So when our actual wait reaches 31 months while the published time is still 29, it shows they’re processing files from that 29-month group — and an increase in the published time is actually a positive sign for us.

I hope it's as you said.

U r right first time I was not sad seeing this cuz processing time they updated means the last one we actually saw they processed January and February in 29 months when it was 31 months processing time on website. Now 30 months means they should move in next so we will see some updates hopefully.
