H&C Humanitarian Ground with/or Without Failed refugee claim

No updates yet. They sent my files to somewhere else and now I am waiting for them to advise ircc about my case. Non routine.
My own timeline, but given the current immigration situation today. It is probably a lot different now.

So when u submitted your Stage 2 docs after getting AIP? and which was your office Vancouver or Toronto.
Bro same with i applied in July 2023 got AIP on 22 Aug 2025 submitted all docs for stage 2 on 17 September 2025 still not received medical request and also from same office Vancouver.So how long it took for you to get medical request Aip issued after AIP .You won’t believe this but your timeline gave me hope lol as i was reading lots of posts that people are still waiting from 2023 or 2024 after getting AIP
This is my complete timeline:
H&C Application
Oct 22 2020: Application received.
Oct 30 2020: ROA
March 31 2021: Started processing application.
April 10 2025: AIP letter received.
May 01 2025: Medical instructions sent.
May 09 2025: Medical results received.
August 12 2025: COPR letter received.
September 02 2025 Portal 2: already had a PR portal created. Just need to confirm address in Canada and submit digital photo.
September 05 2025: Submitted digital photo and confirmation of address.
September 25 2025: 7:42AM Golden Email eCOPR received from Montreal Office
Honestly, I was beginning to lose all hope that this application was lost given how much time had passed. Then on that blessed day in April we received stage 1 approval. And then my file moved very quickly after receiving stage 1 approval which I am so incredibly grateful and blessed. Happy to end this year as a PR of Canada. Next step will be to receive the PR card and then Citizenship would be amazing.
Brother i am in strange situation too i also lost all hope so after getting AOR in july 2023 CBSA removed me in September 2023 so i was kind of lost that i won’t be able to comeback although they didn’t put a ban on my passport.Everyone was saying i just wasted money on that H&C and lawyer fee.So i filed the application when i was 22 now i just turned 25 this month i was really hopeless to be honest i almost forgot that i had any application in process but suddenly received that AIP .But now it has mo use for me unless i got stage 2 approved.If i was in Canada i should have got work permit but now everything is dependent on copr and i also needed the ARC to comeback so just finger crossed.Many congratulations to you.
his first stage was from 2020 october and his processing started 2021 march so his total years is almost 5 years you applied 2 years ago come on
Bro actually in case you are not aware people usually get medical request from ircc within few weeks so that’s why i asked that question and also i got removed 2 years ago by cbsa just received approval after 2 years so technically it has no use for me until i get PR i think i won’t be able to get Work permit as i need ARC
After two years, my father's H&C was refused, and he will be returning back home in the next three weeks (just booked his ticket).
MY father came here on visit visa 2019 to help me and my sibling settle, both of us got married eventually and i just became a Citizen this year. I have filed 3 years taxes as of this year so i will definitely share interests in sponsoring my parents. My father was continugin his stay here on his Visit Visa until last October they refused his extension of his Visitor Record (first time in 5 years) and i reapplied again with no answer. And H&C was filed in hopes of WP or PR in the meantime, of course it can take years we knew.
I do not know what will happen after he leaves, will he be banned as he has lived on for almost a year Out of Status.
He was helping me raise my daughter now 2, and we are expecting our second baby January, i wish my father was with me but IRCC has decided to separate his children from him along with his grandkids. For context my mother is back home and as been visiting us every year to see us and her grandkids and my father. My sister is waiting for her PR as well. My parents are old and we would like them to live with us than living alone back home.

I wanted to find out the chances for a new H&C application for a sibling who has been in Canada since 2021…for school then work and WP expired and was not able to successfully apply for other programs. Got diagnosed with stage 4 cancer right before WP expired and now on a visitor record and still needs treatment.
1) what are the chances for a H&C application, given I will be supporting them financially and they can be able to find work easily to support themselves given their educational background?
2) chances of getting health insurance?
