I'm not from 2024 PR group but wanted to understand the timeline.
I got my parents PR app submitted in Aug 2025. So the expected timeline is 1 year roughly to get COPR in hand?
Please let me know

Hi - today morning - I got 2 emails from CPC Mississauga requesting some additional documents (which I had uploaded when I submitted my PGP 2025 application). Then within 2 hours, I got 2 more emails from CPC Mississauga with the subject line "Recall: Citizenship and Immigration Canada - CPCM - Communication to client".

Does this mean I don't need to submit the documents they asked for?

Hi All. No specific questions. Wanted to update my timelines and background. PGP 2024 applicant. For 3 people. Dad, mom and dependent son (elder brother). He is a special needs person (mentally challenged with learning disabilities). Was very doubtful of his eligibility to be sponsored along with parents. So far no issues. All 3 possess valid Canadian visitor visa.

Hoping they'll complete all formalities before this year end.

In case if it helps anyone:
1. For linking PR application to GC key of principal applicant to work had to use no of persons in family as 5. (3 for them + 1 me as sponsor) + 1 wife as co-sponsor)
2. Dad worked in defense (Air Force) for 15 years 40 years ago so had an additional request to submit detailed information about his service records thru IMM 5546

Hello Everyone - Can someone please help me with my 2 questions below:

Question 1: How does I link an application for my mother so that I can check processing status? I have entered her UCI/LastName/DOB/COB and it just keeps on saying application not found.. I have tried this with various combos as "Person Being Sponsored" and also as "Person Sponsoring" where I then entered my details but just keeps saying Application Not Found. I know it's in progress as I have been receiving comms on it.

Question 2: I had paid the full RPRF fees, but then was requested a payment of CAD85/- for RPRF fees. I personally believe that this was because my mother had a request for Biometrics, and I believe IRCC may have used some funds from the originall RPRF fees, and wanted me to replenish it. Has anyone else had something similar done? The CAD85/- was paid a month back and I also submitted the receipt of this through a webform but since then, am just waiting.

Hello everyone,

Is there anyone here who is or has been in the same situation: Meds and biometrics have been completed. We received request for payment of RPRF which we immediately paid and submitted the receipt via Webform, then got an acknowledgment email that the documents were received and added. However, when i was able to finally link our application, status says “We need additional documents” We haven’t received any other request except for that RPRF and we complied with that request 3 months ago. Should i be concerned? If anyone who has been in the same scenario can please give insight. Thank you!!

How did you end up filling the education part on IMM5669. I have a similar situation where my father has a 2 year gap between Secondary and University

What did you personally do? I'm confused, there will be gaps for Education since there are school breaks in between for example xmas or summer holidays. Do we have to mention all these breaks? And that was more than 50 years ago in my parent's case.

Yeah I agree. However what do we do about gap years, summer break, time between end of high school and start of university. Do we mention it in the form or in a letter of explanation or both?

I understood that the Personal history part must have no gaps but I have seen in a few posts online that Education - Section C should have no gap too. So how do we fill this form? Example if there are 2 months break from high school to university, do we add it as 'school holidays'? But where would that go on the form? There is the field such as 'Name of institution', would it go there? Doesn't make sense.

For most people, the end of high school was also part of their high school years.

Hi, My father got IMM 5546 request to fill today. He is a retired police inspector. Will you be able to suggest me on filling the letter up what not to avoid and stuff. I appreciate it.
