I went to the same location to submit mine today as well, around 12:30pm. There was a bit of a line outside, but nothing too bad. The clerk screening was quick, though my photos from Staples got rejected. Luckily, I had a backup set I took at a convenience store, and those were accepted.

I paid the extra $50 for express since I’ve got a trip this weekend. They told me to come back Thursday between 9:30am and 3:30pm to pick it up. My office is just a stone’s throw away, so that works out perfectly.

Great to hear about your express service. I have my oath on October 9 but have to travel on October 23. Where exactly is this passport office (Downtown Toronto) location? I will try to go to the same one. Also did you receive your e-certificate the day after oath?

My LPP was completed July 30 and I still never got oath scheduled. What's going on? Everyone else is getting their oaths scheduled one week or less after LPP completion? I'm in Newfoundland (Atlantic)

Mine (LPP) was completed 2nd Sept and still waiting for ceremony. It appears a number of us are all in similar position. Just have to keep waiting I suppose....

Citizenship test: May 30, 2025
Citizenship test marked as completed: June 4, 2025
LPP completed: Sept 18, 2025
Oath letter received: Sept 23, 2025
Oath Ceremony Date: Oct 31, 2025 (in-person)

All in all, the whole application would take 7 months from date of submission to oath ceremony

Don't give up. Hold on tight. We have seen situations where no movement and then on the same day, everything is completed and also situations where application still shows in progress and oath scheduling comes.. Also, try calling IRCC to confirm application is still in progress and nothing is needed from your end. If you're still not satisfied and worried, you can order GCMS notes so see the notes on your application... All the best!

Same here - Mine completed Sept 4th and updated on Tracker Sept 6th and since then no update. Hoping to get oath scheduling update this week.

Oh wow - looks like they're pretty strict with the photos. I was planning to go to Staples..

Did they say why they rejected your photo? Any recommendations on where I should get them done?

It was rejected due to glares on parts of my face. And yes, they are strict with it. I think it has something to do with it not being readable on the bio-data page or something along those lines.

It’s 74 Victoria Str but I believe any Passport Office offers the same service - as long as you have your proof of travel. The officer looked at it and jotted some info (the flight time, flight number and departure date).

And yes, I got my e-certificate the day after oath.

Hey question about the passport photos - aren't we supposed to have the guarantor sign 1 of the photos? Did they waive that rule on the day?

No they kept 1 of my original passports photos with the stamp and guarantor on the back, then took the 2 new ones.
the lady just held onto everything, and asked me to run downstairs get a pic and come back and hand it to her, very easy!

Passports have both gone to printing, 3 days from drop off... speedy!
Hoping we can collect next week, instead of the 7th, because I am an impatient swine who is excited to have the physical PP lol!
