I got FP request exactly like you, and submitted on 26th just like you, but I only had ghost update on Sept/6th.. does that mean my BG now will take two years!!?

I got FP request exactly like you, and submitted on 26th just like you, but I only had ghost update on Sept/6th.. does that mean my BG now will take two years!!?
Hi guys, how does ghost update look like?
1) I receive an email titling "follow the progress of you citizenship grant" and when I opened account, there are no updates and even the application status was last updated on "September 13, 2025". Is it a ghost update?
2) Once we get GU, is there expected to be some updates soon in the account, even if not right away?
3) For family applications, will steps (like background check etc) be completed for all the applicants in 1 family file together? like husband and wife will have background compelted together or they can follow different timeline regardless?

I think this is just the invite to sign in/create a tracker account. They send it out after the AOR but you can realistically create the tracker account 48 hours after your AOR instead of waiting for this email.
my aor is sep 11. I already had recievsd this email earleir and created tracker. Thats why its looking weird and I thought it is ghost uodate maybe.
for ghost update, do we receive any email or something? how do we figure out that there is ghost update on our application.
Not sure @lone_ranger, did you get an additional email after the one that asks you to create a tracker email? I had my AOR earlier than you and have not had an update since BG completion.
Also, it seems like Citizenship applications take 11 months now.

You can find a ghost update when the application status (top of the tracker page) has a date that’s later than the last activity on the Application History (bottom of the tracker page)
For example:
Your citizenship application status
Updated: September 15, 2025
But when you scroll down:
Application history
Sep 1, 2025
Activity status updated: Background verification
I submitted my application on 20th July but haven't got AOR yet, is there anyone else also who has applied on 20th July & have not received AOR yet? what could be the reason for the delay?? Anyone know
