Hello i know some would judge me but i know i am not the only one asking this . so i am a former detainee for political views who go against my regime values . after i finish my sentence i was released i could not work anymore due to severe persecution that affect my body . i sold my house and belongings to cross the states through latin america . i entered usa and decided to move to Canada .
i applied for asylum and was approved actually my pr is in proccess and i am on Odsp in Toronto.

now my question is if i am not able to work and contribute to society does it affect my status as a refugee or future pr refugee .

this frustrates me . thanks in advanced to those who will give a truthful and honest answer..

i can make a living with 1400$ as i pay 700$ for rent its just better than ontario works alone . i went to see a certified doctor and he confirmed my eligibility for odsp. actually i could afford a living with the other half 700$ .
and thanks for your answer its appreciated

Really up to Ontario to determine if you meet the requirements for ODSP. According to my GP some MDs are very generous with their ODSP assessments so would always wait to see how the government of Ontario assesses your file.
