Hello everyone

Just a quick check in terms of time it takes for IRCC to issue AOR for PGP post submission of application in pr portal. Want to make sure that they can reach out to us well ahead in case there is anything missing inadvertently or an error still persists etc or otherwise
From reading 2023/2024 PGP applicants, it looks like 3-4 months after the deadline (Oct 10th)

Good evening,

I did sent an expression of interest in 2020 when I was living in Quebec. I got an invitation to apply in 2024. Due to work related reasons, I am now in Ontario. If I change my sponsorship for my parents from Quebec to Ontario, would I be assessed with the MNI for Ontario. I am single so I rely only on my income to sponsor my parents. I am not sure what to do as in my application I have two parents and their dependent child so I have 3 people and my person for a total of 4. For Quebec, I satisfy the income eligibility and for Ontario I might be slightly short for the 2024 MNI. Do you guys have any suggestion for this? Thank you.

Hi everyone,
I have a question. My spouse received an invitation to apply for his parents' PR. When calculating the family size, it's me, my spouse, two kids, and his parents — so a total of 6.

However, two years ago, I applied to sponsor my own parents, and my spouse co-signed the application. We later had to withdraw the application and my parents never became permanent residents.

Do we still need to include them in our family size? Would that make the total 8? thank you! Please help.

Hi again,
I just wanted to make sure. When I applied for my parents in 2020, I was a Canadian PR. But now I am a Canadian Citizen.

In the Proof os Status document. Do I attach a cpoy of my PR Card? They have mentioned multiple times that it has to match the application from 2020.

If so, do I attach my Citizenship Certificate in "Additional Supporting Document - Canadian Citizenship Certificate or Card". Do I also attach my passport under "Other" ?

If your parents never became a PR or are in the process of becoming one, there is no undertaking for you. So your family size will remain at 6. Also at what stage did you withdraw your application?

Yes, I will attach a copy of your PR card in other documents, proof of status, you can upload your citizenship card and passport and citizenship certificate in other documents. And then, include a letter of explanation saying you were a PR when you expressed interest and now you are a citizen so you are adding all these documents.

If you live and work in Ontario you must meet the requirements for Ontario (outside Quebec).

Is the sponsor required to upload scans of all valid passports? For e.g I am a dual citizen with two passports. Do I need to upload both in the 'Travel documents and passport' section of the portal? Or is uploading any one passport fine? Thanks

Hi,
Do mean the other way round?
1. Proof of Status (Mandatory) --> PR card (They keep saying it has to be the same, to match my previous application)
2. Additional Document -- > Citizenship Certificate
