Can anyone confirm if the addresses that must be submitted in Schedule A (Background/Declaration) on form 5669 must include addresses from places of travel when visiting other countries?
Addresses that must be included are places where you lived for more than 6 months. Short vacation addresses are not needed. Those trips will be added to section D: personal history.

Hi everyone, I got invited to apply as well. Just a couple of questions to get me started

1. Instruction says the Principal Applicant (not sponsor) needs to create an account and submit all forms from there. Is there anything the Sponsor is suppose to do at this point?
2. In reality, I'll be the one who will be filling up the forms. I'm planning to submit a Use of a Representative Form (IMM 5476). After that do I need pretend to be my parents, or can I be open and say I'm the one who filled the forms?
3. Can I use the same email I had used to submit the application back in 2020? Or is that too obvious, and be flagged as the sponsor's email?

If you sign the use of representative, that will automatically mean you will be filling the forms.
Create an email address for your parent (principal applicant) and use that email to create an account on the PR portal.
You as the sponsor will need to fill IMM 1344 and financial evaluation forms and upload it.If there are any letters of explanation, it should be written on the applicant's point of view, not yours.

I am a Permanent Resident of New Foundland. My husband resides in Quebec for a closed work Permit expiring 2027. I want to sponsor him to come to me in Newfoundland under inland spousal. We got married July of 2025 and we are in a BF/GF for 1 year.

My question :

1. Does cohabitation is required for spousal sponsorship? Meaning he needs to move with me before we apply?

2. How long is the process if we apply for open work permit?

Hi,

Had a question about filling out section H: addresses of the IMM5669 form

My mom's address in her home country has been the same since Jan 2022. However she took two long term trips to Canada (more than 6 months each in duration) since then

I assume I need to mention the address she was staying at during these two trips to Canada in her address history? If so should I set the 'To' date for her address in her home country to the current month since that is still her permanent address in her home country? E.g

Home country address: 01/2022 to present
Address for Canada visit 1: 05/2024 to 12/2024
Address for Canada visit 2: 01/2025 to present (she is still in Canada)

Or is this format accurate/better
Home country address: 01/2022 to 05/2024
Address for Canada visit 1: 05/2024 to 12/2024
Home country address: 12/2024 to 01/2025 (she went back to her home country for a short visit)
Address for Canada visit 2: 01/2025 to present (she is returned to Canada and is still here)

Please advise
Thanks

Yes she should mention the address where she has visited in Canada.
