What was done in the medical?

Recently family member got medical but no urine test was done. Worried that they forgot.

I did my medical last tuesday 2nd sep, they didn't take urine sample. upon asking they said it is no longer required

No, 1 is for my parents and 1 is for my in-laws.

Documents submitted : 23 march 2025
PCC requested 30 April 2025 ( application number starts with F... centre: mississauga )
PCC submitted : 12 june 2025 ( also sent new passports for both parents )

I can not link application or check status online yet
I am sponcering my 2 parents me and my wife are aponcers on application , i have 2 kids , my wife also sponsored her parents. what family size should i put while linking application?

anyone same timeline as me still waiting for updates?

Posted processing is around 3 years. There is huge variability in processing times with long periods of nothing happening.

I would say you should put size as 6 while trying to link the application in GCKey.

Hello Everyone,

Received the and email last week to confirm the current location of parents and we responded via WebForm that they are in Canada. After one week, got an email yesterday that file got closed in Delhi and is forwarded to landing office in Canada. Can someone please advise how much more time it will take for actual CoPR from here.

"Please be advised that your file is closed at our office. The information you have provided has been noted and forwarded to the concerned office. The landing office in Canada will contact your for virtual landing shortly. You are requested not to send repeated emails to our office."

I know a few 2024 PGP applicants have received CoPR. Maybe some even landed in Ontario. If there is someone in here, I needed to know how soon Service Ontario issues IDs and health cards. As per Service ontario there is no wait period to apply.

last year and previous years I always pre-arranged travel and medical insurance for parents ( super important) and planning to do the same for their landing too.

my question is - how many month of private insurance is needed to be safely covered for any eventuality, before OHIP takes over. I know critical insurance is different need and i can take care of that.
I do not mind a bit overlap so for now guessing 3 months of personal medical cover will be safe. Any inputs from personal experience in Ontario?
