According to IRCC website it can take up to 10 months currently

I just submitted my application how long does it take 6 months or 1 year

Before mine, I submitted 2 applications for my friends. One took 4 months, the other took 5 months because he missed the exam and we had to ask for a new exam. Overall, if nothing comes up in your background check or prohibition, expect average of 6 months. That IRCC processing time is not to be trusted.
