What is the best way to be prepared for filling out the interest to sponsor form for parents?
I've heard that it is best to keep all of the information handy in a Word document for quick copy/paste.
Is there any past successful candidate who can share the template in a document of what all information is required while filling out the form?
Thanks.

What do you mean? If parents selected in the lottery then follow the instructions for submitting an application. There is no interest to sponsor form. They were in the pool since 2020 and invited through the lottery.

Sorry to confuse you. I want to prepare for the next round of filling out the interest to sponsor form for parents. Think about the step before you actually get selected in the lottery.

The form hasn't been open since 2020. There were around 75-100k left in the pool so do not expect it to open for years. Also the form and requirements may change for the next time it opens. So hard to prepare if you don't know what to prepare for. Make sure you meet LICO. The issue is that many people submitted a form and were not even eligible. So wait until it reopens with requirements.

You can’t prepare other than earning well above LICO. Parent sponsorship is going to be extremely hard to obtain and many will never get the opportunity. You need to plan for their future in their home country and if/when they open EOI again you can take your chance. Assume there may be reforms to the program both given the sudden realization this program exists by the general public and given the hundreds of thousands who will likely apply. The government is likely going to have to prioritize applicants based on something like years as a PR/citizen, years in Canada, etc. The current system is not functional and didn’t actually prioritize many applicants who have waited the longest to sponsor their parents which is the justification for not opening the pool for the previous years. Parent sponsorship was never guaranteed and the demand has always exceeded the amount of spots but it has gotten much worse as immigration levels have increased all while healthcare is in crisis and Canada’s population ages.
