Hello! when you submit FP, how do you know when IRCC received them? Is it indicated in the tracker or we need to call them?

yes fp request june 11, submitted on june 12 and had a ghost update on july 12 followed by an L&p completion on july 15. We are in montreal too. Did your application involve any police certification submission?

Good morning,

I had my interview last week (Wednesday) and was asked standard where do you live, what do you do etc etc questions.
On Saturday (8/23) I got a ghost update on my application. Do you think I am close to the oath? Any knows next steps?

Here's my timeline, no update since June. Tracker says LPP in progress but I called IRCC and they said it hasn't started. I asked if I'm non-routine they said no but it doesn't mean you won't be moved to non-routine in the future. What do you guys think? I was hopeful to see similar timelines are getting oath invites but got disappointed to learn LPP has not started yet, does that mean I'm not going to get oath invite anytime soon?

It’s the same thing they say to everyone, I wouldn’t worry about that. If your application is routine and BGC is complete, only thing that can change it to non-routine is if you have issues with the rest of the steps.

presence and prohibitions were marked as completed on June27, then a ghost update on July 1st and nothing after that, language still marked as in progress .. I thought maybe it was due to wrong documents submitted (had only submitted the approval certificate for francisation o sent the actual page that shows the levels accomplished), so on July 10th I submitted them and havent heard anything since, on July 18th I requested the gcms notes and have not received those either ... what I find strange is that no email requesting interview or anything, for those that had an interview, was it marked on the tracker ?

I want to apply for Citizenship for me and my wife.

I got my PR via express entry in 2019 and then I took IELTS in 2017. My wife got her PR via spousal application .

For Citizenship proof for my wife, can I upload her bachelor’s degree certificate from India, and she is working in IT for last 10 years both in India and also in Canada combined, any of this would help for language? Did anyone did this personally and worked?

For myself, I don’t know how I can retrieve my IELTS results from 2017?

Any info would be helpful

Hi guys, I submitted my Fingerprints back on June 11th - IRCC confirmed receipt on July 12th, however security is still pending in my case so BG and Prohibitions are still not completed. Anyone in the same situation aka waiting for security to clear? Thanks and my full timeline below.

Hi. I called and received the same answer regarding my background. My criminality was passed without a fingerprints request but my security is with third party now! I also don't have language and physical presence either yet! I'll keep you posted here if anything changes

I have been waiting on language, prohibitions, and physical presence to be completed for a while now. All 3 were marked as completed today on the tracker. I guess I'm only waiting on the citizenship ceremony invitation now.
