What exactly happens in second stage .. and what stage they ask for medical exam

The majority of the time is waiting in a queue because there is such a limited quota there is a huge backlog waiting for landing. During second stage medical is requested if not part of stage 1, proof of being able to financially support yourself, etc.

I have posted this already but there seems to be some confusion. I am asking again more clearly. Can anyone help me with obtaining a work visa/authorization to work IN PUNJAB INDIA? NOT in Canada.

Hello everyone, I would like to submit an application for my Mom. She has been divorced for over 15 years. She has 3 kids, all Canadian citizen and live in Canada. She is 70 years old and lives back home all by herself, apart from her kids and grandkids. She basically has no one there to help her with her daily life or at the time of crisis and sickness. I am wondering if she would have an strong enough case for H&C humanitarian category. Please let me know if you have any suggestions or experience with similar cases.

Bad bad bad idea h&c I'll take 3 to 4 years and she's 70 years and probably with health issues immigration doesn't want older people to press more hospital's and clinics better to pay a good lawyer and find out what is the best option for her h&c you spend the money and she don't get PR

But she is healthy with no ongoing serious health issue. You still think she won't have chance?

She is not in Canada, has no footing in Canada aside from her children, and cannot contribute anything/nor has ever contributed anything to Canada. Even if she was here on a visitor visa for a couple of years, it makes not much of a difference in this class. Very slim chance

She needs to be physically in Canada to apply for PR under H&C. If she is outside of Canada, then she does not meet the requirements to apply and it will be a straight refusal.

She is currently in Canada and has work permit until 2028. But she is not currently employed
