That varies from a couple of days to 2-3 weeks and in many cases over a month.

Is anyone else here experiencing similar timelines or delays? My application, along with one of my child’s, has been stuck since April. Although I received a ghost update in June, there have been no further changes or updates since then. Meanwhile, my wife and other child, who applied at the same time, have already received their citizenship a month ago. Is there a way to find out the exact status of our applications or understand why they have been delayed for such a long time?

And I am done! Did the oath in person today at the Scarborough office. Very nice ceremony, all the staff were amazing! Overall it took about 1.5 hrs from check-in till end of the ceremony. Received paper citizenship certificate at the end. Was told to wait at least until Wednesday next week to apply for the passport.

I finally got the update on the my tracker that my oath ceremony is Sep 10th! However I haven't received and email with the details yet! Does anyone know roughly how long it could be between the update on the tracker and receiving the email? It's currently been 5 days.

In-person ceremony is 3 hrs drive from home. On a second day of school my oldest kid is entering Junior Kindergarden. Does anyone know how long it takes to process a request to switch to a Virtual Oath Ceremony?

Oath Ceremony scheduled for 03SEP2025 was posted to the tracker on 16AUG, and just got the ceremony invite email on 21AUG! Good luck to you!.

Switching to virtual could take up to 1 month just to get a new date. I would suggest you turn the day into a road trip.

Up to you but a switch is likely to take 3+ weeks, with not much clarity on when (it could well take much more than 3 weeks).
