Hey guys, I applied for my SOWP on 30th June 2025 after receiving my AIP. I was out of status before that. I’d really appreciate it if anyone who was previously out of status and got their SOWP successfully could share their timeline. Thanks a lot!

That's a good question. I have a friend who was out of status and applied for WP last February. Nothing so far. He sent his application in September 2024. After this waiting time, I think that he won't get his WP.

Chances are you will likely receive PR before SOWP which is why most just wait.
IRCC has processed your application fast. My spouse is an April 9 applicant and only got a biometric request. Well... you might get WP. Who knows?! IRCC is unpredictable.
I have a different issue, I was visitor visa and applied for extension before it expires, so I'm on implied status waiting the extension response, then today I got PA Eligibility/AIP saying I could apply for SOWP, but while answer the IRCC questionnaire I got the question asking when my status will expire (it did expire July/28 but I applied extension before it) , then it says I am out of status within 90 days and I should apply to restore status as it does not know I have applied for extension and charge me extra $239 + $250,

by not selecting the restoration of status I only can progress by setting date ahead (I just put end of august to see), then it progress to WP forms, the form 5710 ask for current status and date from and to, I can not provide dates early than today and I do not know what date it will be until my extension is issued, then I stuck, I guess by selecting restauration of status + WP the form would be different, I may try to see if the form is different then.
Any thoughts?
